Index 1: Infrastructure

Focus on the infrastructure layer of the crypto ecosystem. In addition to BTC and ETH, there are emerging layer-1 blockchains that provide compelling and unique ecosystems that Decentralized Apps (Dapps) are being built upon. DeFi, Gaming, and other crypto applications are leveraging these different layer-1 blockchains for competitive advantages. The infrastructure layer of the crypto ecosystem is considered to offer relatively high growth potential with less risk than other digital assets, such as gaming.

Index 2: Infrastructure

Index 2 also focuses on the infrastructure layer, however these digital assets are considered layer-2 assets. A layer-2 token typically runs on top of a layer-1 blockchain and provides solutions for increased scalability, higher transaction rates with lower fees per transaction. Layer-2 tokens provide an additional framework for optimizing a layer-1 blockchain.

Index 3: DEFI

Decentralized Finance (DeFi), is an emerging alternative that is challenging the existing financial system with unique solutions based on crypto technology and distributed ledgers. Layers of third parties are no longer required with DEFI solutions. This reduces cost, provides additional security with increased flexibility for the end user.

Index 4: Metaverse

A rapidly emerging sector of the crypto ecosystem is the metaverse. The metaverse is a combination of multiple technologies that create virtual worlds with endless possibilities. The metaverse is difficult to fully describe as its an emerging sector of crypto. Some call the metaverse the next evolution of the Internet, with virtual reality and gaming being at the forefront. One prominent venture capitalist says “The metaverse is the 3D version of the Internet and computing at large.” NFTs are also a core technology of the emerging metaverse as are virtual land and real estate tokens.

The metaverse is providing investors the biggest opportunity to invest in the future of the crypto ecosystem. It is the future interactive evolution of the Internet.

Index 5: Gaming

The gaming index is correlated to the metaverse index; however, its a subset of tokens that are solely focused on gaming applications built on blockchains. Blockchain based gaming provides a distributed and decentralized user experience. One key emerging use case for crypto gaming is Play-2-Earn (P2E), where users receive crypto rewards for their time spent inside a gaming application.

This index will capitalize on the enticing yields being offered with various stable coins within the crypto ecosystem. Refer to the stable coin section of this document for a summary.

Index 7: BYOI (Build Your Own Index)

The smart contract platform can construct an index of any ERC20 compatible tokens. Investors can opt to choose their own token allocations, including percent weighting inside the index, and our platform can automate the construction of the index, the swapping of the allocated tokens in the index, and automate the staking process for those tokens which are stakeable.
